Bible Study at 10:00 am in the library

On the second Tuesday each month at 10:00 am, Trinity Presbyterian Women and other interested adults meet at the church for prayer, study, fellowship and service. The lessons are led by Dr. Mack using the Horizons Bible Study materials.

Dr. Mack leads the 2023–2024 Presbyterian Women Bible study, “Sacred Encounters The Power and Presence of Jesus Christ in Luke-Acts”
By Olive Mahabir.

You are invited to meet in person the second Tuesday of each month in the Library beginning September 12, 2023 at 10:00 am. All interested adults are welcome!

Bible study books are available for purchase during office hours or by arrangement with the office on Sunday morning for $10.00.

The 2023–2024 PW/Horizons Bible study by author Olive Mahabir invites readers to consider Jesus, “the good shepherd” (Luke 10:15), who shared the Good News through sacred encounters with everyday people. The Gospel According to Luke and the book of the Acts of the Apostles, or Luke-Acts “one story in two parts,” demonstrate the unfolding of God’s redemptive purposes in human history and present a distinctive perspective on the person and work of Jesus Christ. Written by Luke, a physician and traveling companion of Paul, the message to the early Christian community (and to us) is radical, inclusive, and hope-filled.
